quick laugh

I've been getting a lot of solicitations for Money Magazine. I was given a subscription a few years back & apparently they REALLY want my business. I haven't been able to justify purchasing a subscription, although I do enjoy the publication.

Today, they offered a 1 to 3 year subscription at $10.00 per year. The offer gave me pause. I kept thinking, wow, this is a good deal. Then I realized I don't need the subscription at all. Duh. So I reminded myself that I can read the magazine at the library & tossed the offer.

I have to watch being so overwhelmed by savings, that I'll buy a product that I don't need.

    I have subscribed for years to that magazine. Maybe if i don't renew, they will offer it to me for $10!

    Check out their website, too. I used to subscribe, but have found that most, if not all of their articles are available online. Saves the trip to the library...
