Til Debt Do Us Part - anyone remember this episode?

January 30th, 2011 at 02:56 pm

I'm watching the 'Single Mom Shake-up' episode from last night and they keep saying over & over that this is the first time that Gail has ever suggested bankruptcy. However, I remember an episode where she suggested to a couple that they look into it and they determined that it wasn't an option for them because family had cosigned loans with them. Does anyone else remember that? Although the couple didn't file bankruptcy, Gail still suggested it as an option.

Random, I know, but I hate when there are inconsistencies in a show I'm watching.

I remember that episode, too. And I thought the same thing while watching last night. It was the episode with the couple that was living in their parents basement...

I am not familiar with that show, but it bugs me too when things are consistent.

I guess it depends on if the single mom episode was a rerun. Maybe it ran before the other one.

We noticed that too...I wonder if CNBC is broadcasting episodies in a different order than they are being shot.

I found it interesting it was the daughter who wanted to eat at home, not the mom. Often we hear kids only wnat fast food.

Glad I'm not the only one that noticed Smile

Retire@50 - Last nights episode was a 2011 episode. The other episode was definitely 2010 or earlier.

rob - That could be the case - that they're broadcasting episodes out of order, good thought. Who knows. The only thing was I swear in the episode with the couple, she said that was the first time she has ever suggested it as an option.

Who knows Smile Either way, it was a great episode. And I agree it was interesting about the daughter. Seems like her mother's actions have created a real awareness about money and what is the adult action and what is the childish one.
