Snow pics - totally OT :)

LOTs of snow. There's a state of emergency & all the roads are pretty much unpassable. BUT the retail chain I work for (part time) is going to open the store despite the mall being closed. Guess who is not going in? I'm going to miss my 8 hours of pay. But I'm not gonna risk my safety OR a ticket for driving during a state of emergency.

I havent even begun to dig myself out. Its still snowing & very windy. No matter what, I'm getting out there this afternoon. Here are some pics at what I'm looking at!

    I've seen that outside my window before, too. I sure wouldn't go out either! I'd wait until the snow stops and winds die down to dig out, otherwise your efforts will be futile.

    Very beautiful - thanks for posting. I would do that too if I weren't so lazy! Also I am sort of "between digicams" right now.

    CCFree - I'd agree on the futile efforts. But I have a townhouse with attached driveways with my neighbors. The plow already took a pass by my house & if I dont move some of that snow. The next pass will bury us into the driveway completely Frown There's really nowhere to put the snow.

    All weekend activities were cancelled in my area in anticipation to the big snow storm. We woke up this morning to a dusting, but south Jersey got hammered so I suppose it's better to be safe than sorry. You are doing the right thing by staying home. Great pictures!

    I love the pics of the cat! My dog is like that about the rain! Ha Ha. Good decision to stay home.
