'Free' Money for Christmas 2012 Update

December 15th, 2011 at 06:15 pm

I have another $20 to add to Christmas 2012 Money.

-$10 Rebate expected
-$10 from Magazines.com for a promo
-$20 from signing up with Serve.com
-$20 from Mastercard for using their card for $200 in Christmas shopping (No extra purchases made to get that deal)

All the funds are 'in the mail' and I am goign to update a sidebar with these funds.

I am also expecting $200 from one new Citi card and $100 from another new Citi Card.

CUrrently, my focus is on earning money/gift cards from credit card rewards, MyPoints, CashCrate, Recyclebank and similar sites. Smile

I'm doing a challenge pretty much the same. So far I've got $70 in Target giftcards and $20 in Amazon gift cards that I've gotten from Swagbucks. If you haven't checked out swagbucks yet, u can use the link below. It's a pretty easy way to earn giftcards.

I enjoy Swagbucks as well - but am slow at earning. Any tips would be appreciated!

I'm doing as many surveys as possible, too, though my priority is to always get money if I can.

Any opinions about which survey companies where you make the most money, the fastest? I'm doing surveys at Toluna, Pinecone, My view, Global Test Market, Opinion Outpost and I-Say.

I like Pinecone becus they credit you quickly and I often get free product tryouts from them. I also seem to rack up points fairly quickly from Opinion Outpost. (I'll have the details when I do my year-end expense breakdown here in a few weeks.) My View, umm, I've had a long unexplained delay in getting my first gift card from them so i'm rather unhappy with them. Toluna seems very reliable and has the most surveys. I had to stop redeeming survey points with them a few months ago becus i had reached the $600 point, meaning they wanted my social security number becus they'd have to start reporting the income to the IRS, so while I'm still earning points with them and doing surveys, I'll hold off til January to redeem points again.
