Well, today I went to the doctors for a medical condition I was having. Long story short, I left work with the intention of going back after the appointment, but ended up being send for tests. September is not my month, I can't wait for October.
Anyway - doctors appointment was a $20 copay (used the HSA card). I spent about $9.49 on an item for my condition, but was unable to use the HSA card for it.
I also spent $32.37 for gas & $4.99 for Wendy's. The fast food was my emotional spending after a stressful afternoon.
I am now home. Tomorrow, my boss is having us go out to lunch. However, we will have to pay for ourselves. I have $15 cash for that.

I can empathize with you. Had to take 2nd Daughter today to the doctor for swollen lymph nodes (looking it up last night online left me quite anxious about the whole thing). Doc feels it is a reaction to the flu shot two weeks ago. Was more concerned about her thyroid, that it is slightly larger than she'd like given my daughter is a little thing. Even if it is a problem, the doctor assured me that nothing here is "life threatening" (thanks to a hypchondriacal MIL, my DH is a nutter when it comes to worrying about health - especially the kids'). After the relief and drama of drawing blood for the TSH levels, I didn't think twice about going past Micky D's to buy three chocolate shakes (large might, I add). So I was an emotional spender as well! Hope all is OK with your health condition!

Hope you get some answers from your tests.
